SPRING BAY—Clara M. Wrenn, 98, of Spring Bay, passed away at 5:35 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010, at her residence.
Born April 14, 1912 in Memphis Missouri, a daughter of John and Pauline Meyers Loeffers, Clara married Theodore Wrenn, August 5, 1930, in Galesburg. He died July 13, 1967 in Peoria.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Bruce Wrenn, parents, one brother and six sisters.
Clara is survived by her great-niece and care givers with whom she resided, Gail and Buddy Reynolds. Also surviving are four great-great nieces, Nikki (Trevor) Roe and their two daughters, Samantha and Natalie; Carrie Reynolds and her son, Justin; Jill (Dan) Schoolman and their children, Bradley, Joe and Danielle; and Kim (Jeff) Henderson and their two daughters, Katie and Ellie. She is also survived by one niece, Elizabeth Blakesley and one nephew, Danny (Eileen) Wasson of West Memphis, Arkansas.
Clara was passionate for all cats and birds and leaves behind her cat, Tommy.
She worked for the Rock Island Railroad, 30 years, retiring as a coach cleaner in 1976.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Memorial services will be private. Cremation rites were accorded. The Wilton Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Burial of ashes will be in Hunt Cemetery in rural Roseville.
