WASHINGTON – Donna Jean Gaworski, 77, of Washington, died at 8:27 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at her residence.
She was born January 9, 1932 in Peoria to George and Effie Freimuth Ivanovich. She married Leonard K. Gaworski on December 23, 1951 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Steven (Kathy) Gaworski of St. Louis, Missouri, Lynne Gaworski, Timothy (Tammy) Gaworski and Jennifer Gaworski, all of Washington; her grandchildren, Joy (Jason) Shults, David (Mary Beth) Gaworski and Christopher Gaworski; five great-grandchildren and one brother, George “Bud” Ivanovich of Yates City.
Preceding her in death are one son, Daniel and her parents.
Donna was a home maker. She loved her family, painting, gardening, traveling and her dog, Petey.
Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Wilton Mortuary in Peoria. Pastor Howard Love will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, at the mortuary. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
