PEORIA—Kimberly "Kim" A. Pequette, 39, of Peoria, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
Born March 6, 1970 in Chicago, the daughter of Steven and Shirley Horstein Akiyama, Kim married Troy E. Pequette July 3, 1993 in University Park, Illinoios. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Michael, Jared and Isaac Pequette all at home; her parents of New Lenox, Illinois; maternal grandmother, Gloria Horstein of New Lenox, Illinois; and one brother, Mark (Jill) Akiyama of Manteno, Illinois.
Kim was preceded in death by one daughter, Kaitlyn.
Kim was a member of theTri-County Home School Co-op.
Kim was an active member of Richwoods Christian Church and participated in the Kids Rock Ministry at the church.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at The Wilton Mortuary. Rev. Jim Powell will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 to time of services on Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
