Dearest Joan & Family,
Words cannot express my deep sympathy for you in the loss of your dear husband and father. He was an amazing man - the arms of God sent to us on earth. TGLTYTY will forever live in the souls of all who came to know him. God's Servant on earth has been called home.....
Big hugs,
Laurie

Dear Joan and family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Even though we hadn't visited with you for years, I often mention the theme of a wedding message that Jerry preached years ago - Larry, Linda, and the Lord. I was still in school back then, but I have tried to apply that thought to our marriage and have shared it with our four children as they have married. May the Lord grant you the peace that only he can give at this time of your loss.

He taught me the meaning of grace and mercy. Although I tried to tell him, I'm sure he never understood how much his words meant to me and still mean in my life. My husband and I went through his pre-marital counseling, and we remember TGLTYTY very well... and the "couple's dialogue," which we still use, twenty years later! He was in many ways a father figure to me. He was a beautifully humble man and it was obvious to all that Christ lived through him. I've never known a couple so sweet and caring as Pastor Fruedenburg and his wife Joan. My thoughts and prayers are with her and Pastor's children and grandchildren. God Bless.

Dear Joan and Family,
We would like to extend our condolences to you and your family. We truly loved Pastor's energetic and enthusiastic sermons, as well as his caring personality and concerns for others. Vickie was in his last adult confirmation class just before he retired. We will truly miss seeing him, but we are looking forward to our heavenly reunion some day.

Our Deepest Sympathy to all of the family and friends of Pastor Freudenburg. I came to know him when he took my husband to be and me through pre-marital counceling and then married us almost 41 years ago. He then took me through confirmation classes, confirmed and baptized me into the Lutheran faith. He was a wonderful person and he will be greatly missed.
